Andrew Majzner

Creative Director & Founding Partner

Andrew is a principal of Paper Stone Scissors. Harnessing his entrepreneurial spirit, Andrew opened the agency after graduating from university. It is now one of Australia’s leading creative agencies in the fashion, retail and lifestyle sectors. Andrew has been instrumental in communications for some of the most iconic Australian brands, forging long partnerships with Peter Alexander, Alannah Hill, Calibre and Kayser, to name a few. His passion and enthusiasm for the design industry, and for his clients and the broader fashion industry, has guided our success and seen us awarded nationally and internationally for excellence.

In 2007, Andrew played a key role in our expansion to China where we began working with international powerhouses such as Adidas, The Bestseller Group, Herman Miller, The Four Seasons and Converse. Andrew’s guilty pleasure is traveling, baking and a touch of reality TV.

Atia Cader

Creative Director & Founding Partner

Atia is a principal of Paper Stone Scissors. Since its formation in 1996 the agency has contributed to the success of both national and international brands and grown from an initial 3 staff to over 40 in 2012. In 2007, Atia initiated the expansion of the agency to China. Since then, we have enjoyed strong growth, attracting clients across a range of categories, including fashion, which is a stalwart of our work.

Atia’s interest and passion is for the complete visual communication of brands and the delivery of solutions with a sound commercial basis. Her strategies focus on a detailed understanding of client needs, a cultural and social understanding, and consumer psychology. Atia has been a guest speaker, awards judge and design mentor for a variety of design associations and educational institutes and is currently on faculty at Tractor Design and Digital School. Her guilty pleasure is a little sweetness and she couldn’t live without chilli on the side.

Gergana Le Coq

Creative Director

Gergana is leading the team in Shanghai and has been a part of growing the business in China and delivering strategic communication solutions to major key players across Asia since she first joined in 2009. She is looking after all aspects of the company so it’s able to achieve strategic, operational and performance objectives. She is also responsible for fostering the creative, directing the team across all processes from ideation to presentation.

Gergana specialises in brand articulation, brand storytelling, content creation and art direction across different offline and online channels. She has over 15 years of experience across 3 continents and her work has received academic honours and distinctions, as well as being published and recognised by global design associations like D&AD.

When she is not in the office working on a new campaign or idea, you can find her scuba diving on a small island somewhere in South East Asia.

Shermaine Heng

Senior Account Manager

Shermaine was born in Singapore and grew up in Australia, where she completed her Bachelors in Communication Studies and Commerce at the University of Western Australia. She started off her career in luxury fashion & lifestyle magazine POSTER sold in Australia and Asia, working together with brands such as Ferragamo, Lamborghini and Zegna. Since then, she has worked in a number of leading agencies such as Ogilvy and TBWA before joining Paper Stone Scissors in 2012. Shermaine is currently on the Board of Directors for Stepping Stones, a non-profit with the mission to improve the education and welfare of disadvantaged children in China.

When she’s got a moment to herself, you’ll most likely find her writing endlessly, with a book in hand, or making scribbles on paper with her Micron pens.

Gaetana Lucci

Financial Controller

Gaetana joined Paper Stone Scissors in 2007 to head the Finance division. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant, with over 12 years of working experience. Formally trained at KPMG, Gaetana specialized in Insolvency and Forensic Accounting for 5 years before moving into advertising. Gaetana’s financial acumen has helped grow Paper Stone Scissors from a Melbourne based agency of 10 employees to what it is today. Gaetana was primarily responsible for the property procurement and project management of our Windsor Head Quarters and played a key role in setting up the Wholly Owned Foreign Entity that is our Shanghai office.

Not your standard bean counter, Gaetana loves salsa dancing and travelling the world when she isn’t spending time with family and friends.

Sam Chong

Senior Designer

Sam Chong received his Bachelor of Arts from the School of Design in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he trained in visual communication and design thinking. After graduation, he worked as a graphic designer at Wieden+Kennedy Shanghai where he was responsible for doing designing advertising campaigns for brands such as Nike and Disney. Sam was nominated as one of the finalists in the Young Lions China award in 2015.

After work, you’ll find Sam freestyling in a dance studio, listening to a wide range of interesting music, or illustrating for his Instagram feed.
